Peter is a director and founder of the BTC Group and theLearningBusiness collaborative learning platform.His expertise are in learning and performance consultancy aligned with business development.

Starting with a career in outdoor education Peter worked for the Sports Council coaching sailing to national level. His consultancy work now includes strategic level work on performance management, particularly in the area of how effective learning builds performance. He is passionate about innovation in learning, and has recently led a £1.5M research programme into using e-learning to raise awareness of diversity issues at work.

His work in the field of e-communities is focused around developing online communities of practice and he is currently working on innovative approaches to continuous learning through e-communities. Peter has also developed a university programme on e-coaching. His work in developing theLearningBusiness has provided the scope to turn ideas into reality as well as a depth of expertise in online learning.
