Joanne was a manager who wanted to improve her chances of promotion was looking for ways to develop her skills.

At first Joanne was only interested in project management training and decided to join theLearningBusiness for a IT course on Microsoft Project 2003. She then came across other courses that would help, and took a course on the Prince2 project management method.

Following this she joined the Project Management e-community to stay in touch with other project managers, and share best practice with project managers from other organizations.

Now she is using an e-community of her own to manage a virtual project team. To accelerate her skills and professional development she is also working with her own personal e-coach and is ready to achieve her promotion.
